چکیده

An investigation was conducted to study the effect of plant growth regulators on rice (variety Sarju-52) grown under sodic conditions, during kharifseason 2018 at students’ instructional farm ANDUA&T, Kumarganj, Ayodhya. The experiment laid out in randomized block design with nine treatments and three replications, different concentrations modes application (PGRs). PGRs were applied as follows- seed priming GA3 @25 ppm & 50 SA @ 10 25 ppm, foliar SA, each 100 200 30 (DAT), along untreated control. Seed done for 12 hours PGRs. Thirty five days old seedlings transplanted field from nursery. Observations recorded various parameters such height, number tillers, dry biomass/hill, relative water content biochemical like chlorophyll, TSS, 30, 60 90 DAT maturity (harvesting stage). Both positively influenced characters, chlorophyll content, total soluble sugars. Moreover, spray @200 found have a more pronounced improving yield variety studied, among all treatments, conditions. It can be concluded that is effective salt stress.

Effect of Copper Contamination on Soil Biochemical Activity and Performance of Rice (Oryza sativa L.)

Copper (Cu) is an essential element for regular functioning of organisms. It plays significant role in number of physiological processes like photosynthetic and respiratory electron transport chains, N fixation, protein metabolism, cell wall metabolism, anti oxidant activity, fatty acid metabolism and harmone perception. However, excessive amounts of Cu in the root zone inhibit growth, chlorosi...

Biochemical and Anatomical Changes and Yield Reduction in Rice (Oryza sativa L.) under Varied Salinity Regimes

Five Malaysian rice (Oryza sativa L.) varieties, MR33, MR52, MR211, MR219, and MR232, were tested in pot culture under different salinity regimes for biochemical response, physiological activity, and grain yield. Three different levels of salt stresses, namely, 4, 8, and 12 dS m(-1), were used in a randomized complete block design with four replications under glass house conditions. The results...
